Six

Forget history as you know it — on 31 August 2026, the musical revolution SIX arrives in Pula.

This is not a classic history lesson, nor another story told from someone else’s perspective. SIX is a global phenomenon that has blurred the line between the West End, Broadway and the world’s pop charts, transforming six historical figures into six powerful contemporary voices who finally take control of their own story.

In this energetic “remix” of history, the former wives of Henry VIII step out of the king’s shadow, take the microphone and turn their destinies into a triumphant pop concert. Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr are no longer footnotes in the biography of a monarch — they become the stars of the evening, each with her own style, attitude, wound, humour and victorious chorus.

The audience can expect an explosion of rhythm, irony, female power and outstanding vocal energy. SIX works as a concert, theatre performance and pop spectacle all at once: fast, witty, uncompromising and infectious from the very first minute. Its lyrics are as sharp as the quickest TikTok comment, the music pulses with the energy of contemporary pop divas, and its stage language does not reconstruct history — it takes it over, turns it upside down and transforms it into a stage manifesto.

Franka Batelić, Vanda Winter and Tara Thaller bring vocal power, charisma and stage confidence inspired by pop icons such as Beyoncé and Ariana Grande, while a live all-female rock band drives the rhythm of the evening and further emphasises the concert character of the show. This combination of powerful voices, live band, futuristic costumes and precise choreography creates the feeling of watching a historical reckoning transformed into the most modern musical show of the 21st century.

In the setting of ancient Pula, SIX gains an additional symbolic force. A space that remembers centuries becomes the backdrop for a show that does not observe the past from a respectful distance, but brings it before the audience loudly, boldly and entirely in the present. Where ancient stories once echoed, on 31 August the bass, applause and voices of women who no longer accept being told through someone else’s version of history will resound.

This is an evening for everyone who loves musicals, pop concerts, strong female characters, intelligent humour and stage energy that never drops for a second. SIX is not a show you simply watch. It is a musical rebellion to remember, sing along to and share — from the first chorus to the final bow.

Prepare for a visual and musical spectacle that turns ancient Pula into the most modern stage of the 21st century.
